Queen’s TV is a weekly student television program that airs once a week on TVCogeco in Kingston, Ontario. In addition, we produce 5 segments which are released daily on our website. We are in our 23rd season of production and air a variety of content as well as provide a cutting edge media service to the Queen’s community as well as the local Kingston community. Queen’s students, less than 10% of whom are permanent Kingston residents, are about 43% male and 57% female, representing 98 countries. Our alumni reside in 158 different countries around the world. Students spend over $245 million annually aside from tuition and books. Advertising with Queen’s TV allows the opportunity to reach the student demographic in a number of ways. We also offer a video production service called Video Factory, were we are able to create commercials ranging from 3 seconds to 60 seconds based exactly on your vision for the project. We will work with you to create your student advertising campaign and ensure that your advertisements reflect your company’s image and mandate.
Advertising opportunities online on our website include Segment Sponsorships, Website Pre-Roll Ads, and Website Banner Ads.
The segment sponsorship is a 10 second business stamp, 5 second before the segment and 5 seconds after the segment. It will generally contain the advertisers Brand and quick message which can be tailored to satisfy individual’s needs. It is possible to choose specific segments to sponsor, or to purchase segment sponsorships on a weekly or monthly basis.
Website pre-roll ads can be between 15-60 seconds in length, and are commercials which pre-rolls before any segment. For example, if an advertiser were to purchase a week of pre-roll ads, the commercial would precede any content viewed, any time throughout that week, whether a segment is viewed Monday afternoon or Saturday at 3am. Website pre-roll ads can be purchased on a weekly basis.
The website banner ad allows for advertisers to publish their brand graphics on our website. These ads can be purchased on a weekly basis.
